The Township of Langley has released a number of data sets under the PDDL, a
license that is compatible with OSM, at
http://www.tol.ca/ServicesContact/OpenData/OpenDataCatalogue.aspx

They have released about 40 datasets which I will be looking at after my
exams to see what has usable data. A quick look shows that there are some
datasets which have information which would be worth importing. The OSM
data is superior in some areas so any imports will have to be done carefully
to not overwrite existing data. The most interesting datasets appear to be
the trails and parks ones. The OSM data is good, but I see them as a way to
identify additional trails and parks which aren't mapped.

I'm also willing to collect any comments about the data and forward them on
to the GIS department. If anyone else is interested on working on this, let
me know and we can coordinate.
