[Talk-GB] #waymap-project-SB cycleway vandalism

One of the other cycleway edits was a very short segment of a cycle crossing changed to a footway. Too short to show up except on the closest of zooms, but long enough to break routing. I'll happily buy a pint for anyone who can convince me that it was simply a result of inexperience.
Meanwhile, we still have no idea who #waymap-project-SB are, or what the aims of their organised edits are/were.
Something we could do with in QA tools like OSMCha is a test for cycle access and pedestrian-only access being reversed on ways and nodes. In most cases that would pick up false positives, real accidents by the inexperienced and small local edits by NIMBYs. It would also pick up more serious damage like this so that it could be repaired before it reaches too many routing services.

Their last edit was 3 months ago, so I doubt that they will be returning to OSM any time soon. Of the comments at http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=16477544 only one was before they stopped editing, so it's unlikely that answers to the other questions will be forthcoming.
