I have always understood a caravan site to be somewhere where you can
take a caravan, not rent a static one.

The wiki also lists caravan site, caravan park, motorhome stopover
location and RV park. It is is no way limited to motorhomes/RVs.

Don't read too much into the value being the singular chalet not
chalets. Tech is full of misspellings. See "Referer". It's the
definition that matters, not the key/value.

The wiki used to clearly state it was for 1 or more chalets, it gets
edited every time the conversation comes up, but it currently still
says that "This could apply to single chalet or a group of chalets."

Putting tourism=chalet on each individual building/static caravan is
invalid, it creates duplicates. There should be one tourism=chalet for
the site, and only if an individual building within the site is rented
out differently/not part of the site from a customers point of view,
then it should get it's own tourism=chalet.
