A licencváltás akkori okával én se voltam eddig tisztában, de 
utánaolvastam, és nagyjából a copyright és database right közötti különbség 
miatt volt. A wikipédia gyakorlatilag egy könyv, arra vonatkozhat a szerzői 
jog (és emiatt a CC alkalmas a védelmére), de az OSM csak egy adatbázis, 
tehát nem esik copyright alá (nem olyan típusú szellemi termék); és a CC a 
copyright alá eső szellemi termékek védelmére jött létre és olyan 
terminológiát használ.

*Our current user license is Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 2.0. 
It was not designed for data and the creators of the license state,
