Hello,
I sent a photo this morning of the following data but have just heard it
requires moderation.
Clonmel Union / Superintendent Registrars District 1885, all in County
Waterford, includes:
St Mary's Registrars District which includes 3 EDs
Kilmacomma ED
St Mary's ED
Kilmanahan ED which has an area of 1006. Population of 145 (1881 perhaps?)
including
In the Barony of Glenahery
and in the Parish of Inishlounaght the townland of Kilnamack West.
and in the Parish of Kilronan the townland of Kilmanahan
Source Townlands in Poor Law Unions by George B Handron compiled from a
series of bulletins held in National Library Dublin. Clonmel is number 48
page 138, dated June 1885.
Townlands.ie shows ED. acerage as 1002 acres. not sure which type of acres
were used by both sources.
Perhaps around 1924 the ED of Saint Marys along with Ballymacarberry and
and Kilsheelan were transferred from Clonmel PLU to Waterford PLU!!
Best I can do
