[Talk-il] Mapping conventions

Hi Yuri and Tal

I assume the discussion on the conventions for tagging roads will continue
in a different thread.
Anyhow I see you both prefer that the name should include prefix such as
"רחוב" etc (also know that Moshe use this convention), though I prefer to
have it in different tag, we can start by adding such prefix in Hebrew and
pstfix in English to the name and name:he tags.

For consistency we need to finalize the list of them before starting this
change, at least in my mapping.
I think that in English we should use the english names for the road type:
like Street and not Rehov.

I think that at least we should have the following list, please tell me what
do you think:

1. Street / רחוב
2. Avenue / שדרות or שדרת - I don't mind to use Boulevard instead.
3. Alley / סימטת
4. Way / דרך

Regarding using long names, well having the different version of the name in
different tags is a good idea, though I prefer that we will have both names
in Hebrew and Englsh, and just have the short (ot long) in English as Yuri
practice.
I noted that people add tags like name:he1, name:en1, so I prefer that we
will use long (or short) names in this tag.
This way no gusseing of how to generate the short from the long will be
needed.
BTW: In Rishon I noted that long names are start with the first name and
then the family name (when applicable), please tell me if in your area it is
the same.

Regards,
Eli
