Olá Carlos Alonso,
Olá Julio y todos,

first of all I apolgise to write in English, but my Spanish is not good
enough to explain, what I would like to explain.

Why I'm anwering only today and not earlier? Because I had to travel to A
Guarda to talk :( (and map :) ) with the students who translated until now
the weeklyOSM from English into Spanish.

For those who hadn't heard about this us, that is our page: www.weeklyoem.eu
In this interview
<http://www.weeklyosm.eu/overcoming-language-barriers-with-openstreetmap>-
the German Wochennotiz (our siterproject - in which I am working since some
years) did with the team from weeklyOSM, you can read more about weeklyOSM.

If you have any question, don't hesitate to ask. ;-)

Well, the Comenius Project <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/MychOSM> is
financed by the European Comission, not weeklyOSM. ;-) Please see, that the
wikipage is under heavy contruction
<http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/ES:MychOSM>. ;-) (Read more about the
money in the interview above!) Within this project the weeklyOSM is *one*
of the products.

Yes, we are all volunteers, mainly students who translate under the
guidance of teachers. :) ... Nor the students, neither the teachers are
payed for this work.
The idea from the beginning was to transfer the project into the hands of
the OSM community. You can see that, because JP, FR and CZ entered ... as
we all volunteers and not payed. ;-)

La intención no es "duplicar tareas" o "devaluar" el trabajo de nadie,

... but that happend a little bit with our young students. :(
... and to be fair - me as the "pedagocial advisor" - may say it, the
students in Spain, they do a great job to translate *every week* the German
Wochennotiz.

and sometimes the workflow is not as efficient as it should be. ;-) ... and
because Carlos Alonso had to move to England to work with our team on other

If you read Pascals last edition of weekly, you should know the nmaes of
Madalina and me. ;-)

Therefore, and we are working as a whole group of translators, we would
invite you to join the group and help us and the students to go forward. ;-)

In a certain way it affects our project. You are right, but in an other way
it affects the project not, because we have in mind to overhand it to the
community. ;-) - What we really did with the French, the Japanese and Czech
part.

Once again, you are very welcome to join the group, like Andy from UK, who
joind the team and does a very good job in reviewing each version.
