Hi Cascafico,

also I cannot survay but I agree with you, those should be highway=path 
instead footways.

Translation of this tags should be reviewed.

"highway=path <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway%3Dpath>" 
is "steza", right? - but also this is called "peš pot"

"sidewalk <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:sidewalk>" is 
"pločnik" (more <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Sidewalks>),

"highway=footways 
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway%3Dfootway>", but I'm 
not sure about this, maybe "peš pot"

I belive that we should open topic about this on forum.
