Oh, please make prints of OSM and use them to choose where to go next, 
yes - I didn't mean to confuse matters or discourage anyone from doing 
that!!

But please avoid using copyrighted data to help make your map, the 
temptation to "just fill in this last part" without checking in real 
life is very strong.  Although I'm not accusing anyone of weakness, it's 
much easier just to avoid it all together.  Of course we can't stop you, 
and OSM-KML hacks are undeniably very cool :)
