The other target market for this sort of thing are companies requiring 
directions to their premises.  The people I work for spent loads (I'll try to 
find out how much) getting a custom map done showing how to get to their 
offices from various directions, and they seem pleased with it.

Because you only need a base map for that kind of thing (main roads into the 
town, and smaller roads as you approach the company location), it doesn't 
take as much time as properly mapping the area.  

p.s.  If including mapchester as example, make it clear that it required loads 
of people and say what % of the city actually got mapped -- cities are *big* 
places, when even a large village takes the whole day to map using a bike/car 
combination.
