Expecting 'the admin' (whoever they are anyway) to have to
isolate changes by IP address is unrealistic and unneccessary.
It's also impossible - IP addresses aren't generally fixed to the person - very few people have static IP addresses. The vast majority of people uploading to OSM will have dynamic IPs from a large subset of, for example, BT Internet, or Demon, or whoever. So reverting edits based on IPs isn't going to work. And, as OJW just pointed out, tongue in cheek, neither does reverting edits made maliciously, if that person changes their account every few days (hours, even)
But all this is a bit academic really, given that there's no Wiki-like revision control on OSM, which is what I really want to see.
