[OSM-talk] Resources sites in Spain

Hello all,

I just recently discovered OSM and started to map my neighborhood in Madrid,
Spain, as I saw this important city is yet unmapped. However, although
landsat may be useful to map roads, it has too few details to map streets,
so I was wondering if anybody knows any map that may help for Spain.

On the other hand, I have been told about a site dedicated to draw virtual
terrain, http://vterrain.org, just a big compilation of links to sites and
projects. It covers every aspect of rendering terrains, from data
compilation to 3D rendering. As it states: "The goal of VTP is to foster the
creation of tools for easily constructing any part of the real world in
interactive, 3D digital form". Maybe it is useful*, *and* *as I am new in
the forums, I don't know if this site is already known.

And finally, I am interested in contacting any other Spaniards in this list,
and give a little push to the Spain map.
