Whilst agreeing on David S's point on things like, say, path blockages, I
think anything that would appear on an OS map would have place in OSM, so
pubs, churches, car parks etc should certainly go in. When I am out
surveying in the countryside I do this - typically recording pubs,
churches, places, car parks, viewpoints, hill summits and footbridges on
paths.

Would this approach find favour, and if so - given Rutland's
predominantly rural character - what should we concentrate on?

cheers
Richard
