Indeed, and that is why I often feel I have to bring the subject up and defend 
Qt when these old ideas are perpetuated. Even though it's usually irrelevant, 
offtopic, and risks starting a flamewar. So, sorry to everyone about this.

I'd go so far as to say that Qt is _more_ in line with RMS's ideas than GTK+, 
As RMS has never really been a fan of the 
LGPL/favouring-mass-uptake-over-freedom school of thought.
