The only UK-specific bit about all this is my guide for tagging the UK
networks at http://www.gravitystorm.co.uk/shine/cycle-info/ - and
perhaps I can rephrase that to make things clearer. Each country is
welcome to work out how their networks map to the available tags. So
you could decide, for Begium, that:

Happlesbergenroute = ncn
Foilenroute and Fiersenroute = rcn
Etoiler = lcn

Obviously, I have no idea what actually exists in Belgium, so I've
just made some names up, but hopefully you get the idea. If you've got
a signed cycle route in Belgium and you're not sure which to use, then
just pick one and worry about it later!

If anyone can give me lists of how they are tagging things in other
countries, I'm happy to add them to that same page linked above.
