[OSM-talk] Tagging mess?

A lot of spelling naming tagging and classifications and discussions make 
more sense for a European audience. I actually am not in full agreement but 
use the defintions because that is what is commonly used. Tiger has a whole 
set of classification schemes for the US which were developed by groups with 
many resources and experience and a large public data to work with, they 
came up with some pretty good solutions, Its a good baseline at least for 
the US, as a world dataset, potentialy, perhaps thoughts could be used for 
universal street map rule sets.
