I've found a problem with long ways which return a server reset because its
taking the query too long. It happed with the A14 the other day so I split
the road up into more ways and the problem went away. I also noted that a
good chunk of the A14 wasn't being rendered and perhaps this was the same
reason.
So, in longer term the reason for the timeout needs also to be overcome.
