[OSM-talk] A couple of Garmin maps

Hi all,

attached you'll find some links to Garmin maps, ready to use on Garmin 
devices. As the files are based on last week's planet dump, the data is 
a bit dated.

The fiels are useful in two ways:

* Unpack one and copy it to the flash card of your Garmin device (in 
mass storage mode). Ensure to put it into the folder named »Garmin«.

* Load them in http://qlandkarte.sourceforge.net. After opening a file 
in qlandkarte, zoom out heavily until you see the map tile and then 
zoom in. If there is mistagging (ways with unordered segments and the 
like) they will show up in some weird zigzaging polygons.

Actually I enjoy it very much to see the already mapped data when 
mapping the rest of an area, and to have OSM data available when 
biking.

cpgsmapper, to Jochen Topf for the osmgarminmap script and to Frederik 
Ramm for being very helpful setting up the machine that did the hard 
work.
