Indeed very cool. The Anderton Boat lift is also worth inspection

There are some other bridge like structures which have special names. For
instance the "Link Span" which is the name used for a flexible adjustable
span that links a quay to a ferry (a bit more sophisticated than a gang
plank!). There is also of course the "Jetway" or "Skybridge" that forms a
similar service to aeroplanes.
