[OSM-talk] RFC: landuse = mining

Hello,

in my region there are some very large surface mines (up to 4000 hectares of 
area) which I would like to tag correctly.

I decided to propose landuse=mining as the tag for mining in general.

Comments, ideas, criticism and improvements are welcome, preferably on the 
wiki-page to keep the ideas at one place.

Please note that this proposal was edited after the first (non-RFC)
