[OSM-talk] Is edit adding private dataset created specially for OSM considered an import or not?

Big thanks for your message. I'm very happy to see you send out a "sweet bad" as M. Rosenberg puts it and tell us you have learned something in the process.
I'm very happy we have vigilant mappers who check each others changesets. It is the basis of the whole community and without it OSM would not be what it is today. (Compare with wikimapia where anyone and their dog publish "I live here!" on a proprietary satellite image.)
Now let's together sprinkle some "thanks for sharing this with OSM" and "thanks for splitting this multipolygon" etc on their changesets. ❤
