@jocelynj got the same problem yesterday night while importing a France extract:

Processing: Node(269320k 185.1k/s) Way(0k 0.00k/s) Relation(0 0.00/s)get_node_list failed: ERROR:  prepared statement "get_node_list" does not exist

Arguments were: {2372128533},
Error occurred, cleaning up

System: Debian 7 64bits, 6GB RAM
