Hi Tim,

Do you know the layers of OHM (2008 and 2009)? So, one
idea that we have is to

provide a initial layer to the years 1870 to
1940, one layer per decade.

I send a image in attach illustring the
map layers of OHM.

Regards,

Rodrigo

I can get the OHM data by API, however I can't add any data.

authenticate to the server, like you would as a new user for OSM but

registered users, no special permissions are required. "osmapi" is a
python script that is written for OSM in mind. Most people use JOSM or
the iD editor, and do it by hand.

for the explanation. I tried to do it with the OsmApi, pointing to OHM,
however I got some warnings, rather than a result. I send a picture
(osmapi_ohm.png) showing the warning message. I attemped with the OSM
default and it works, but when I tried to change to OHM URL, it doesn't
work. Is there other URL to point? Or is this even? PS: in the photo, I
tested with a valid id of way Best Regards, Rodrigo Em 14-10-2017 19:46,

the same code as OSM, as long as you point your tool to the open
historical website, you can use anything you want. JOSM can be used to
upload / edit, just change the API hostname in the configuration panel.

Yes, we want to add tags (e.g. start_date=* and end_date=*) and sources
of the data. Is there some API that we can use to make the upload (like
osmapi)? Or only in web page? Best regards, Rodrigo Em 10-10-2017 14:34,

Strongly suggest you add date and source tags to your edits so that the
time period of the buildings is obvious to future renderers? -rhw

Pauliceia [1], that its aim is to vectorize the city of São Paulo
between 1870 and 1940, being one map per decade. We would like to
vectorize the ways and the buildings in this period. We would like to
know: could we use the OHM to save the data? To contribuite with the OHM
project. [1] https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Pauliceia2.0 [1] Thanks
