All started from the solar thermal power discussion.
Viking81 suggested to map as power=generator thermal collectors which
produce steam for domestic heating and for electricity generation (with a
steam turbine).
We can find such items both on house's roofs and in solar power plants.
In one hand it's directly producing output power for domestic heating and
on the other, it's only intermediate since actually the steam turbine
produces electricity.

If thermal collectors must be mapped on house's roofs, they must be mapped
in a solar thermal power plants.
But since they're not producing output power, we can't put them at the same
level than the steam turbine (total power plant rating computation
matter)... This is the justification of intermediate.

Ok, let's say generator:role.

Like before, I don't see better solution to take care of a very specific
situation.
