[Tagging] How to tag named group of named water areas?

Agreed with Martin here, I would be amazed that the name of a pipeline would contradict the name of one of its section being something else than a pipeline.
Dave, you missed a very important rule: Keep it simple.
On roads (routes for cars), a pretty common thing) ref=xxx can be found on ways in simple cases.
