Indeed, mechanical edit is not at all the topic here. I edited the proposal
to make it crystal clear.

And in fact, we “vote on deprecating stuff”. All. The. Time. It’s just that

Thank you, that is exactly the spirit of my RFC.
Another reason to do it is to have a better legitimacy to make deprecation
requests to the tools/editors.
