[OSM-talk] OSM / JOSM losing data on nodes?

One thing with JOSM is that you have to make sure you have _selected_ the
node, segment or way before adding an attribute. If you haven't selected
anything it still lets you add an attribute. The only clue you get is that
the dialog box says "This will change 0 objects" which is a bit subtle and
easily missed.
If its not that then I don't know what your problem might be.
